A Physical Dream
Outside the borders
Which cage my subconscious
Lies the existence
Of physical destinations
Images flipped across my mind
Corrected by the sense of sight
A dream becomes more than a dream
I reach out to feel its magnificence
It's perfection so real
The taste so electrifying
It ignites all my possibilities
Inspiration floods the gates
And life becomes amplified
Cloud nine is ambiguous
Compared to this high
Nothing could eliminate
These predictions in my head
For the dream is true
And is here to stay
Discussion:
In this poem, the author see that her dream isn't just an image in her head. She can physically see, feel and taste it. She sees that her future is bright and it the realization of it is better than floating on Cloud Nine. The is hopeful in the sense that the author can see her dream before her and feels that nothing will ever take it away.
