In my new coming collection of poetry book titled, Weightless, I write poems about what it is like to deal with being overweight. The good, the ugly, the bad, and the fat.
Weight is wrapped into many aspects of a person's life such as self-esteem and confidence. Weight can also affect situations that come up in your everyday life such as job, relationships, friendships, etc. It is a difficult topic but not an impossible one and through these few stanzas I intend to let others know what I feel when it comes to the extra baggage that a carry.
