When I was in high school, my teacher taught us about depression and suicide. As I grew and paid attention to the world, I saw just how devastating such a dark state of mind could be. I began as a teenager writing poetry that were depressing and dark, not fully understanding what it actually felt like to be depressed. Later in life... it became very clear.
Darkest Corner of the Mind is my very first collection of poems which is the collection of amateur poems of depression I wrote back in high school.
